We're four people from four different countries who got tired of the same agency nonsense. So we started one that actually works.
It started the way most good things do. With a problem nobody was solving well.
We'd each spent years working inside agencies, startups, and tech companies across Europe, America, Asia, and Oceania. Different countries, different industries, same story everywhere: businesses paying too much for digital work that was either too slow, too fragmented, or too generic to actually move the needle.
One agency handles the website. Another runs the ads. A freelancer does the emails. Nobody talks to each other. The client pays for four different invoices and gets zero cohesion. Sound familiar?
We thought: what if everything came from one team that actually understood how all the pieces fit together? What if instead of hiring five specialists who don't communicate, you had four people who do everything and talk to each other every single day?
So we picked a name that was impossible to forget. Because honestly, when was the last time a digital agency made you smile?
BigPickle was born in Sydney in 2026. Four people, four skill sets, one jar. We keep things simple: no lock-in contracts, no juniors pretending to be seniors, no account managers who disappear after the sale. You talk directly to the people who do the work. Always.
We're small on purpose. We're not trying to be the biggest agency in Australia. We're trying to be the one you actually enjoy working with and the one that delivers results you can measure.
That's the whole story. No corporate mission statement. No "synergy" or "paradigm shifts." Just four people who are really good at what they do, who happen to think pickles are funnier than most things in life.
